Bart has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 1989.
He studied law at the Katholieke Universiteit van Brussel and then at the Katholieke Universiteit van Leuven.
Bart is a co-founder and director of RESOLVED Avocats – Advocaten, together with Gauthier ERVYN and Laurent DELMOTTE, with whom he worked for nearly 20 years at their previous firm.
He is mainly active in public law, real estate law and financial law. He works for clients in both the public and private sectors.
Bart has 30 years of experience handling cases before the courts and tribunals, but also before the Council of State, the Constitutional Court and the Council for Permit Disputes (Raad voor Vergunningsbetwistingen).
He attaches great importance to combining his dispute-resolution practice with advisory work. For him, these two aspects of the legal profession are the essential ingredients of an optimal service to clients.
Bart works in both Dutch and French and also has a good command of English.
