On 7 November, Gauthier ERVYN spoke at the seminar organised by the Royal Professional Union of Architects (UPA-BUA) and Architects in Brussels (AriB) on architect public contracts.
This conference, held at the Architects' House in Brussels, aimed to discuss and analyse best practices in the award of public contracts for project designers. Me ERVYN's presentation focused on the specific legal issues arising in the award and performance of these public contracts. The points addressed included the following: the nature of the contracts, preferred procedures, the issue of price (overall flat-rate percentage), tender compensation, modifications during performance and claims, new payment periods, price revision, etc. You will find the slides for this presentation at the link below.
