Energy occupies a central place in Europe's political and economic news, and it continues to grow. Efforts to increase our production of energy from renewable sources — and wind turbines in particular — are more necessary than ever to combat climate change, as well as to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and on the States that export them.
Over the course of an afternoon, this conference aims to explore some of the main legal questions raised by the development of wind energy projects in the Walloon Region. Numerous speakers — judges, professors and attorneys — will share their knowledge and perspectives on seven essential legal themes related to these projects. The topics covered will include:
- the administrative law aspects relating to the implementation of such projects (competition, planning, environment),
- the main elements of civil and contract law,
- and company and association law.
